Elephants are complex mammals with complex needs and the challenge of working with them is one that Arleta Crawford, Elephant Operations Manager, enjoys every day. But working with large land mammals isn’t what Arleta has always done. Much of her own training has been with animals infinitely smaller next to elephants, the kind that can fit in your hand. Plus, discover what an Elephant Operations Manager manages and what’s happening right now with the Zoo’s elephant herd on this episode of Off Exhibit.
