Grade 2: Zoo Detectives – BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!
Each morning, campers are greeted with a mystery by a different Zoo staff member. Campers then explore the Zoo, play games, and engage their senses to solve the mystery. Camp is for children entering grade 2 in fall 2020. Due to the young age of the children, campers in the Zoo Detectives Camp do not go in behind-the-scenes areas.
Session Date: June 29–July 3, 2020
Grades 3–4: Prehistoric Planet
Throughout the ages, animals have had to survive in changing environments. Campers will explore how prehistoric animals like saber-toothed tigers, dinosaurs, and trilobites compare to modern survivors and counterparts.
Session Date: July 6–July 10, 2020
Session Date: July 13–17, 2020
Grades 5–6: If I Built the Zoo…
Designing a modern zoo exhibit requires different skills, including engineering and artistry, and consideration of the needs of both animals and people. Campers will take the role of the designer as they model their own zoo exhibits.
Session Date: July 20–24, 2020
Cancellation/Change Policy: A $50 non-refundable processing fee applies for any requested changes made to, or cancellation of, any confirmed registration. Cancellations received at least two weeks (10 business days) prior to the start of a Camp date will receive a full refund, minus the $50 processing fee. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received fewer than 10 business days prior to the Camp start date or for any missed days of Camp. In the event the Zoo cancels a program, a full refund will be issued. If you have additional questions, feel free to contact the Camp team at email@example.com.
