WHAT TO EXPECT:
  • 10:00 – 3:30 – Kids Craft Station: Kinara
  • 10:00 – 3:30 – Kwanzaa scavenger hunt
  • 12:00 – 1:00 – Join Grammy-nominated children’s entertainer, author and educator, Culture Queen, for a fun and interactive Kwanzaa program
  • 1:00 – Visits and photo ops with Festive Friends
  • 2:00 – Storytime

Activities will be held at the Penguin Education Center

Throughout the Zoo:
  • Photo opportunities
  • Giving Tree – pick an ornament off the tree and give a gift or donation to the Zoo in support of the animals and conservation education efforts
  • Train rides
  • Carousel rides
  • Wildlife Quest VR featuring the film Elf Power ($)
  • Donate canned food items for charity
  • Holiday-themed education stations
  • Keeper chats
  • Penguin feeding narrations at 10:30am and 3:30pm
  • Animal experiences/animal ambassador
