BALTIMORE, MD – The Maryland Zoo has announced a fun-packed schedule of events with something for everyone this Fall. Guests of all ages can experience animals, learn about conservation, or just have a great time in a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Best of all, event proceeds support the Zoo’s animal care and wildlife conservation programs.
Major events for kids and adults include:
- Breakfast with the Animalspresented by Constellation (monthly) – This breakfast series lets guests dine near different Zoo animals and meet the keepers.
- Zoo BOO! (October 3-5, 17-19, 24-26, and October 31) – A month-long family-friendly Halloween celebration with safe trick-or-treating, costume contests, games, live entertainment, and animal visits.
- Trunk or Treat (October 24) – Come to the Zoo for a spooktacular evening of FREE, safe trick-or-treating in our new parking lots. We’ll be giving out traditional Halloween candy with the help of some amazing community organizations.
- OktoBEARfest (October 10 & 11) – The ultimate Oktoberfest celebration features unlimited sampling of 80+ seasonal brews plus beer, wine, seltzer, and cider sampling, live music, local vendors. New this year, OktoBEARfest kicks off with a chill evening event on Friday night before a full day Fest on Saturday. Zoo members $5 off any ticket level courtesy of our partners at CFG Bank.
- Twilight Stroll, Spooky Edition (October 25) – Grab your flashlight and your bravest friends for a spook-tacular family-friendly twilight tour! Led by the Zoo’s Naturalist, you’ll discover how the campus comes alive after dark.
In addition to the events listed above, there are free daily events at Maryland Zoo that include animal keeper chats, conservation activities, story time and nature play, and exploration stations that help children explore the world around us.
