Seven, we’ll say it again, SEVEN African penguin chicks have hatched so far this breeding season! Each chick brings hope for this endangered species, but also more work for our penguin keepers. All seven chicks have now moved from their parent’s nest boxes into the penguin nursery so they can become accustomed to eating whole fish from keepers, just like the rest of the birds in the colony.Watch!
The playground at Celebration Hill by the Main Gate is closed. The silo slide in the Farmyard and Giant Tree slide in Maryland Wilderness remains open.
