In January and February, we experienced a lot of snow, but that didn’t stop the Whiting Turner construction team. Progress on the new African Penguin Exhibit is moving forward and you can see all the work that has been done in our newest time lapse video. Between bursts of falling and melting snow, you’ll see the roof taking shape for the Penguin Interpretive Center and the walls for the penguin holding building being raised. Spring is almost here and fall is right around the corner and before you know it, our penguins will have a new home!
Due to tree work, Main Valley will be closed on Friday, July 18. Guests may walk or take the shuttle down Buffalo Yard Road.
