Below is a new look at the first weeks of construction. This time-lapse video shows the construction process so far. It’s a quick look at the changes that have occurred in the past few weeks. Lots of dirt moving and digging (and more digging).
Since the last post, there have been some changes to the look of the construction site. Currently the construction crew is continuing to dig out a deep hole in the ground. Below is a picture of the current view of the construction site.
Also, the African Journey orange sign has been moved over the new entrance. Since the construction blocked the old entrance, there is now a new temporary entrance onto the African boardwalk, which you can find just past the center of the Zoo. Look for signs and directions inside the Zoo.
