Maryland Zoo Announces Holly-Days Weekends

New events celebrate the season this November & December

BALTIMORE, MD – Break out your ugly sweaters! Maryland Zoo today announced a jolly new way to celebrate the season.

The promotion, called Holly-Days, features four weekends of holiday events, storytimes, crafts, photo ops, Hanukkah traditions, Elf on the Shelf scavenger hunts and, of course, the Zoo’s beloved animals.

In the spirit of giving, Holly -Days events are included with regular Zoo admission or membership.

Each Holly-Day weekend has a different theme:

There will be a Festive Kick-Off on Friday, November 24 through Sunday, November 26.

Saturday, December 2, and Sunday, the 3rd, feature visits from The Grinch of Zooville.

Hanukkah Happenings on December 9 and 10 has storytimes with Zoo Mascots and readings from the beloved books Zebra from Zion and The Mensch on a Bench.
And, during Frozen Wild on December 16 and 17, Elsa and Anna will help kids learn about animals who live in frozen environments.
