Share Your ‘Wild Love Story’
Are you engaged and looking at wedding venues? Look no further! Share your love story with us for a chance to win a special wedding package featuring a ceremony and reception at the Zoo’s historic Mansion House. Three finalists will be chosen to have their stories shared on social media and the Zoo’s followers will choose the winner!
The wedding package includes:
- Wedding ceremony and reception at the Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House for up to 100 guests
- Two animal ambassadors at cocktail hour
- A photoshoot around the Zoo
- Catering and bar services from Blue Pit BBQ
- Day-of on-site venue coordinator
- Parking attendants
Entries must be submitted between April 1 – April 24. Finalists will be contacted on April 26, and voting will take place from May 1 – May 27. The winner will be announced on June 1.

SWEEPSTAKES RULES AND GUIDELINES
- No purchase necessary.
- Contestants must be eighteen (18) years or older and United States residents.
- Contestants can not currently be under contract with another venue.
- To enter, contestants must submit their contact information and give the Zoo permission to share their ‘Wild Love Story’ on social media platforms
- This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook or X.
- By participating in this contest, contestants agree to release Instagram, Facebook or X of any and all claims.
- All entries must comply with the terms of service set forth by Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Contestants, finalists, and winner release Maryland Zoo and all vendors from any and all claims.
- Any brands or logos must be removed from any photographs unless the contestant has verified permission to display.
- Finalists will be selected by Maryland Zoo. Finalists will be required to submit a photograph. Photograph must be a clear picture only featuring the couple; photographs with third parties will not be accepted.
- Finalists will have three (3) days from selection to accept their nomination as a finalist and will provide a verification photo.
- Contestants affirm that all photographs submitted are true and actual images of themselves.
- Finalists will be selected on the content of their story; entries are subject to verification.
- Entries must be submitted between April 1 – April 24. Finalists will be contacted on April 26. Voting on finalists will take place from May 1 – May 27. The winner will be announced on June 1.
- Contestants who have not completed all the requirements by the deadline will be considered void.
- The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is not responsible for any lost, late, or missing entries. No notice will be given to void, disqualified, or non-selected entries.
- The winner will be selected by public votes on individual postings on the Maryland Zoo’s Facebook. The finalist with the most comments will be named the winner.
- Comments will not be included in the vote calculation for the winner; each vote is measured by a “like”.
- The contest winner will have three (3) days from selection to claim prize.
- The wedding date must fall within December 2024, January 2025, or February 2025 It will take place at the Mansion House located at 1876 Mansion House Drive Baltimore, MD 21217. This date and location cannot be changed and an entry in the contest affirms the entrant’s availability for that date.
- The number of total wedding guests cannot exceed 100 people.
- Winner will be required to enter binding agreements with all vendors subject to their terms and conditions including provisions and requirements in the instance of breach.
- Winner will have to pay all state and federal taxes on the value of the prize; a 1099 will be issued for the cash value of the prize.
- Each vendor will contribute goods/services up to a predetermined amount. Winner will be responsible for the payment of any goods and services that exceed that amount.
- No part of the wedding package shall be redeemable for cash.
- Winner cannot substitute vendors or products.
- The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore and any member of the judge’s panel, and/or sponsors reserves the right to disqualify any contestant without notice for reasons including but not limited to fraudulent entries, vote rigging or buying, failure to meet or provide verification of the requirements.
- Any fraudulent entries or contestants will be removed and disqualified.
- Any entries containing inappropriate content such as profanity, spam, threats, defamatory, indecent, obscenity, disparaging or discriminatory language or content that could be otherwise considered offensive and/or negative will be disqualified and removed without notice.
- The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore reserves the right to disqualify any contestant in its sole discretion without notice.
- The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest and/or its rules if necessary. In the instance of a modification, any contestants who entered prior to modification will have the right to modify their entries if necessary.
- Any information provided from contestants will be used for promotional purposes. Contestants consent to the use of any story and/or photographs by the Maryland Zoo and other vendors. This consent shall be deemed an irrevocable, perpetual license and shall not be impacted if the entrant/finalist is not selected as the winner. The Maryland Zoo and vendors’ rights shall include but are not limited to republishing, sharing, copying, promoting, and advertising.
- Contestants affirm that all submitted material is true, original and does not infringe on any intellectual property rights. Shall any claims occur, entrant will release the Maryland Zoo, and other vendors from any claims that may result.
- Any disputes related to contest entry and operation shall be resolved individually and exclusively by arbitration in the state of Maryland, under Maryland law. The Maryland Zoo or other vendors will not be responsible for any attorney’s fees. Any subsequent disputes with winner shall be subject to the dispute resolution in individual vendor agreements.
