Celebrate 150 years of the Maryland Zoo

After a long hiatus, Zoomerang, Baltimore’s wildest gala, returns on June 12 to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Maryland Zoo!

This “red tie” (in honor of our new red panda habitat) evening transforms the Zoo into an elegant, after-hours experience featuring gourmet tastings—including selections from Miss Shirley’s Cafe, Marta Fine Food and Spirits, and The Local Oyster— alongside craft beverages, curated cocktails, and dynamic entertainment throughout the night. Guests will enjoy live music, roving entertainment, a high-energy silent disco, stunning ice sculptures, animal ambassador encounters, live cooking demonstrations, a silent auction, and an exclusive preview of the new red panda habitat. More than a celebration, Zoomerang is a fundraiser with purpose, supporting our animal care and conservation efforts.
