Winter is upon us, but construction efforts are still heating up things at the site of the Zoo’s new African Penguin Exhibit. Despite some snowfall in December, good progress has been made on all the structures that are part of the new facility. The Penguin Interpretive Center is now taking shape as work on the main level begins. The Bait Shack, where guests can purchase pre-packgaged food and drinks is also now standing near Polar Bear Watch.
