Using historic photos and vintage Zoo maps, this tour charts the history of the Maryland Zoo from its inception in 1876 as a park attraction to its current role as a landmark cultural and conservation organization in Baltimore.

Tickets:

  • Adult Zoo Member (21+): $65
  • Adult Non-Member (21+): $70

Tickets include:

  • Three (3) drinks (beer, wine, or soda)
  • One (1) food truck meal
  • Guided tour
  • After-hours visit to various Zoo habitats
  • Meet and greet with an animal ambassador

Zoo members, to receive your ticket discount you must first log in to the Zoo’s online store. Once you do, you’ll automatically receive your discounts at checkout.

What to expect:

  • Guests will be in groups of 30 or less
  • Guests will be guided by Zoo staff around certain areas of the Zoo
  • Food will be provided from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm
  • Tickets include (1) meal per individual

Sip & Strolls are held rain or shine. The Zoo has the right to cancel a program for any reason. Participants will be notified the morning of the program as to whether or not the program will continue. In the event that the zoo cancels your program, a full refund will be issued.
