Based on the most recent directive from Governor Hogan, we will be temporarily closing the Zoo through Monday, March 30th. All programs and events will be postponed or canceled, depending on the ability to reschedule in the future. We will contact attendees concerning tickets and rescheduling. Are you a budding photographer with an interest in nature? Then come join the Maryland Zoo as we work to photograph and identify the wildlife and plants in our backyard. We’ll take photos to help contribute to projects like iNaturalist and Project Budburst which help scientists identify all kinds of creatures everywhere!

Participants are encouraged to bring their cameras, but cellphones with a working camera can also be used.

Tickets:

  • Free with Zoo admission or membership (Participants must register in advance*)
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult
