Zoo Bop FAQs
WHAT CAN I BRING?
Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, strollers, wagons, and umbrellas into the event area. Food and drink, including coolers, are also allowed but please do not bring alcohol or glass containers.
WHAT CAN’T I BRING?
Please do not bring glass containers, pop-up tents, bicycles, skateboards, balls, or lawn games.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
On large event days, traffic is routed to the Zoo’s Greenspring Avenue entrance. For the quickest entry plan to enter at Greenspring Avenue which is best accessed via Cold Spring Lane off I-83. The main entrance of the Zoo is located at 1 Safari Place, Baltimore, MD 21217.
WHERE IS THE EVENT ENTRANCE?
The event entry gate is inside the zoo by the Shuttle pick up area.
WHERE CAN I GET FOOD?
Food and drink will be available for purchase in the event area from a variety of local vendors. Additional options are available at cafes and concession areas inside the main Zoo.
WILL THERE BE ATMs?
Many vendors accept credit cards; however, ATMs can be found in the main Zoo.
WHERE ARE THE BATHROOMS?
Portable restrooms are available inside the main event area. Additional indoor facilities are located just beyond the event area in the main Zoo. Family restrooms are available in the Zoo Central area.
WHAT ABOUT THE WEATHER?
Zoo Bop is a rain or shine event. In the event of severe weather, the Zoo has emergency plans that will go into effect. Music performances will pause to allow guests and volunteers to seek shelter until severe weather passes.
