BALTIMORE, MD – Snore where the animals roar at The Maryland Zoo! Join other zoo-loving folks for an evening adventure during a Zoo Snooze. Sleepover guests become night owls as they explore the Zoo in the dark with our expert staff guides to learn about African penguins, polar bears, reptiles and mammals, and some of the native nocturnal animals that roam Druid Hill Park. The evening ends in slumber party-style when guests spread out their sleeping bags inside the Penguin Education Center. Rise and shine the next day with the penguins!
Families with children ages 6 and up and scout troops are welcome to join in the fun, except for June Zoo Snooze which is geared toward adults only! Participants will tour the Zoo from a whole new perspective, visit natural habitats looking for nocturnal creatures, explore animal senses through participatory games, listen to campfire stories, and hang out with old and new friends.
Overnights begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday and end at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. Tickets for the family overnights are $65/person for members and $75/person for non-members.
