Renovations to the leopard den and yard are underway. The Amur leopard Sofiya has been moved to another behind-the-scenes location while this work takes place and will not be spotted by guests until the project is complete.
The inside of the Tundra Buggy at Polar Bear Watch is currently closed for renovation. The animals at Polar Bear Watch will still viewable from other vantage points throughout the project.
The Tree habitat in the Maryland Wilderness area is closed for renovation until spring. The reptiles and amphibians inside the tree, such as wood turtles and Eastern tiger salamanders, will not be viewable during this time. The giant tree slide can still be accessed by the stairs outside of the tree but may be closed at some times.
