PRIDE PARTY

Celebrate PRIDE at the Zoo! You’ll have the opportunity to visit our pride of lions and the rest of the Zoo animals before joining us on the Mansion House porch for an afternoon of drinks, dancing, and drag—featuring performances by Betty O’Hellno and her fabulous friends. Plus, enjoy a very special “Queer Ecology” keeper chat from our very own Maryland Wilderness area manager Danielle Regan, photo opportunities with animal ambassadors, and more.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Zoo admission – visit the Zoo before the event from 10:00am – 12:00pm
• A buffet and open bar – unlimited spiked seltzers, beer, wine, themed cocktails, and soft drinks
• Interactive entertainment – karaoke, dance party, guest fashion show, and more
• One-of-a-kind “Queer Ecology” keeper chat – plus, meet and greet with animal ambassadors
• Drag/burlesque performance – plus, a meet and greet with the Queens
• …and a whole lot more – photo ops, bracelet making, “kindness rocks” station, ball pit, face painting

Tickets:

• Zoo Member (21+): $100
• Non-Member (21+): $110

Zoo members, to receive your ticket discount you must first register or login to the Zoo’s online store. Once you do, you’ll automatically receive your discounts at checkout.

FAQs:

• If you wish to see the Zoo animals, please plan to arrive early. Guests may enter the Zoo to see the animals upon opening at 10:00 am. Please return to the Mansion House promptly at noon to enter the event.
• Check-in begins at 11:45 am and doors will open at 12:00 pm.
• Seating is limited and will be assigned. If your group is purchasing tickets individually, please email the names of those you would like to be seated with to events@marylandzoo.org. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to seat your entire party together.
• This is a 21 and older event. Please remember to bring a valid form of photo identification. Guests will not be admitted without photo identification.
• Event details will be emailed to the ticket purchaser 24-48 hours prior to the event.
