Discover some of the amazing work zoo veterinarians do every day in this exploratory class. Participants will learn some of the techniques used to care for animals such as health-checks, treating injuries and examinations by treating “patient animals” and testing their skills.

*Participating Science Explorers must be 8-14 years old.

  • Member: $7
  • Non-member: $11 (Does not include Zoo admission)

Cancellation Policy:

  • Junior Science Explorer programs are held rain or shine. The Zoo has the right to cancel a program for any reason. Participants will be notified the morning of the program as to whether or not the program will continue. In the event that the zoo cancels your program, a full refund will be issued.
