11:00am – 1:00pm  Animal Adventures: Invertebrates (Maryland Wilderness Tree Exhibit)

Take part in special educational weekly themed activities.  A chance for kids of all ages to do some wild interactive learning.

11:30am – 12:00pm  Animal Ambassador Training Demo (Eagle Gate)

See a training demonstration featuring one of the Zoo’s many animal ambassadors.

11:30am – 11:45am  Polar Bear Keeper Chat (at Polar Bear Watch)

Learn about the world’s largest land predators and talk with keepers who care for the Zoo’s three polar bears.

11:30am – 12:00pm  Penguin Feeding at Rock Island

Watch the keepers feed our colony of African penguins.

3:30pm – 4:00pm Penguin Feeding at Rock Island w/Wild Encounter

Watch the keepers feed our colony of African penguins with a special interactive keeper/volunteer experience.
