Have the Zoo do all the work! Our birthday party package is perfect for kids of all ages. Party packages are available April 13 to October 20, Saturdays and Sundays only.

Each package includes:

• 1 ½ hour party under a reserved tent at Celebration Hill
• 16 all-day admission tickets
• Half-sheet cake personalized for the birthday boy or girl (serves 30)
• Pizza and lemonade (3 pizzas, 8 slices per pizza)
• Zoo-themed tablecloths, plates, napkins, cups, and plastic utensils
• Gift for the birthday boy or girl
• 16 ride-all-day wristbands for unlimited use at the following rides (weather permitting):
  • Jones Falls Zephyr Train
  • Zoo Carousel

Additional items:

• Additional people (ages 2+): $5 each
• Additional pizzas: $25 each
• Additional wristbands: $5 each
• Upgrade to full-sheet cake: $50

Important information:

• Reservations MUST be received a MINIMUM of ONE MONTH in advance of requested date.
• The Zoo opens for the day at 10:00 AM and closes PROMPTLY at 4:00 PM. Tickets are all day admission; please keep this in mind when planning your day at the Zoo.
• Full package payment must be received with form to reserve date and time. Cancelations made up to two weeks prior to party will receive a 75% refund. No refunds for parties canceling within two weeks of party date; however, you may reschedule based on availability.
• Parties are held rain or shine located under tents. Rain dates are available if weather is severe. To reschedule, please leave a message at (443)552-5277 no later than 12:00 noon on the Friday before the scheduled event.  If sufficient notice is not received, the Maryland Zoo will assume that the party will take place.
• Do not count guests that 1) have Maryland Zoo memberships, or 2) are under 2 years old, in your guest total as they have free admission to the Zoo.
• You can continue to add and pay for additional guests, pizzas, wristbands, or cake up to 10 days prior to the party.
• Admission passes are mailed after receipt of final numbers and payment, up to ten days prior to party. You may distribute tickets to your guests in advance; or, you may also pick up your tickets at the Main Gate on the party date to distribute to your guests as they arrive to the Zoo. “Will call” cannot be accommodated. There are no refunds for unused tickets.
• You may bring additional food and beverage items if you wish. However, balloons, straws, and glass containers are prohibited on Zoo grounds.
• Availability of Train and Carousel are weather-permitting.
