Enjoy the party with Samson and the gang as we celebrate his first birthday.
Samson, the baby elephant, is turning 1 and you are invited to his special birthday bash! Join our Zoo family at the Elephant Overlook and help us sing Happy Birthday to Samson, watch as he eats his very own birthday cake, and enjoy birthday cupcakes, courtesy of Charm City Cupcakes. Free with admission to the Zoo.
Schedule of Birthday Events:
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Samson on exhibit
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Samson’s Birthday Bash! Cupcakes will be served while supplies last. Guests can get their faces painted and sign a giant birthday “card” for Samson
11:30 a.m. Watch as he eats his very own birthday cake and join in a “Happy Birthday” sing-a-long.
11:30 a.m. Penguin WILD Encounter
1:30 p.m. Keeper Chat: Polar Bear Watch
2:00 p.m. Keeper Chat: African Watering Hole
2:30 p.m. Keeper Chat: Chimp Forest
