The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore and Transdev North America are bringing the Safari Express shuttle to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor once again this summer! Beginning Saturday, June 16,  and continuing each Saturday through September 1, Zoo visitors can ride this free shuttle from the Baltimore Visitor Center at the Inner Harbor to The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore and back.

The Safari Express will leave from the Baltimore Visitor Center at the Inner Harbor.

Shuttle times are as follows:

Baltimore Visitor Center to Zoo

9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m.

Zoo to Baltimore Visitor Center

11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m.

The Zoo offers special events throughout the summer, such as Wild About Giraffes! on Saturday, June 16, and Wild About Elephants! on Saturday, Aug. 12. Both events are free with paid admission. For a complete listing of programs and events, visit www.marylandzoo.org.

            The Safari Express is made possible thanks to the generous support of Transdev North America.  The shuttle is available to everyone who wants to visit the Zoo – out-of-town visitors, families, Zoo members – anyone who is looking for a fast and easy way to get to the Zoo! Visitors can buy tickets to the Zoo at the Baltimore Visitor Center. Grab a ticket, hop on the Safari Express, and take a trip to The Maryland Zoo!
