All aboard! A special deal on train rides is coming down the tracks this March. All tickets to ride the Jones Falls Zephyr are just $2 all month long- that’s 50% off the regular price!!

About The Train

The Zephyr’s 10-minute ride leaves the train station near the Zoo’s Farmyard and moves on the one-mile track behind the African Journey returning to the station through a beautiful section of the Jones Falls Watershed. This ride is open daily from 10am-4pm year round, weather permitting. The locomotive is a detailed scale replica of the original CP Huntington Train built in 1863 and was manufactured by Chance Rides Manufacturing, Inc., Wichita, KS. Please note: The train is wheelchair accessible but cannot accommodate strollers or motorized scooters. Please note the train does not operate in inclement weather.
