Make the last days of summer WILD!

1. See an elephant get a bath

Bathing elephants, yeah, it’s a thing and our keepers never forget to wash behind the ears.

2. Celebrate hump day

Hump Day is every day when you can ride a Camel at the Zoo, but it’s not every day after Labor Day because that is when our seasonal rides end.

3. Buy OktoBEARfest tix

Do you like the Zoo? Beer? Polka music? Beer? Saving money?? Beer? Buy Oktobearfest tix before the end of August and you’ll be raising a glass to saving $10 on full price tix.

4. Meet our zooborns

Baby animals…need we say more? Ok, if we must say more we will name the baby animals currently on exhibit. Goat kids, sitatunga calfs, warthog piglets, a baby camel and praire dog pups!

5. Arrive early & stay late

Early birds and night owl, welcome! The Zoo’s summer hours include early opening and evening hours.
