 This July 4th at The Maryland Zoo join us for an animal enrichment day as we host Red, White and Zoo! From 10:00am to 4:00pm, see our animals get treated with some awesome patriotic inspired treats and surprises. This is the perfect chance to see the animals actively behave in their wild manner as they get star-spangled treats to help stimulate natural instinctive behaviors.

 

The lions may have a ‘cookout’ with patriotic themed paper mache filled with meat or the polar bears may enjoy a nice frozen fish popsicle. Join us and come dressed in your best red, white, and blue outfit. Don’t forget your camera because this thrilling event makes for the best animal photo ops. Come celebrate Independence Day with the animals here at the Zoo!
