Baltimore, MD – The Mark Cottman Gallery, located at 1014 S. Charles Street, in Baltimore, will present a special collection of original works featuring animals on display at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. The exhibit, which runs from July 10th through September 3rd, is a special fundraising partnership in support of the Zoo’s operating costs, education programs and conservation efforts.
An opening reception will be held at the gallery on Sunday, July 10, 2011, from 2pm-6pm. The reception will feature food, wine, light refreshments. Plus, The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore’s animal ambassadors, a group of live animals, will be on hand to interact with guests.
Tickets for the opening reception are available for $25 per person – 50% of all ticket sales will be donated directly to The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. In addition, 10% of the proceeds from any paintings purchased on opening night will also be donated to the Zoo.
Guests can also choose to purchase premium rate tickets at a price of $50 per person with an increased percentage of dollars to be donated to the Zoo – 60% of ticket sales and 15% of any artwork sold during the reception.
